Quizzes and sick babies

Poor Alex isn't feeling well. She's got a horrible diaper rash that causes her to scream every time I change her diaper because it hurts to have anything touch it. We've been to the doctor and have a cream for it, though I'm hesitant to use it because of all the warnings and possible side effects... her doctor assured me (in his office and over the phone) that it's alright and is about the only thing that will help, since the rash isn't from sitting in wet pants too long, an allergic reaction, or a new food/change in diet. It's a fungal thing, so the cream will work fast. If it means she'll stop crying every time I change her diaper or give her a bath, well, I'll use anything. Poor baby.

Also am VERY glad Catherine is feeling so much better, even if she does still have her bad spots.

Have cleaned the whole of the apartment today, except the bedroom because once I cleaned a bit of it, Alex would come behind me and mess it again, which is fine, because she's almost 20 months old and that's her job... which she's excellent at. And I can't clean it while she's sleeping since she's not a rather light sleeper.
