Not much to say today

Not much has been going on. I'm getting sick, but I'll survive. My daughter is teething, so she cries most of the time she's awake, poor kid. She's getting four top teeth all trying to come in at once. That's gotta hurt. I keep missing dear Circe online, but one of these days we'll catch each other and actually get to chat. Not much else to say other than naps are good, ice cream is good, and I really love my parents because they are willing to take a screaming teething baby and they can keep her happy (being grandparents and all).

My computer is still not fixed. Hopefully it will be soon. I love my daddy (Daddy's girl, standing up proud) but his computer is slow.

What have I told you about getting sick, young lady? Rest! Fluids! Repeat!

I will not have this illness of yours hindering our plans for a Sugar Quill Commune!

no worries

Illness will not hinder the plans for the Sugar Quill commune. Nothing will hinder the SQC. Besides, I'm getting lots of fluids and rest is not forthcoming to one with a baby... even a healthy person.

'Dear Circe' is a twat and rarely around. ^.^ I'm sorry I gave you my Floo. >_< That was cruel of me...especially after you sent me my Hufflepuff Cup! (I cleared a shelf for it...how creepy am I?)

Don't you wish they made little-kid sleeping pills? Benny, late teether, has also gotten four teeth at once. We're all lucky that I didn't go on a killing spree. ^.^

I'd say 'rest' but that's like saying 'try to fly' somedays. Lay on the couch and watch TV with Alex. Watch Blue's Clues re-runs. I've sent you a big, gushy-happy letter which you *should*, baring any oddities, actually get. Maybe that will make up for my miserable floo

Floo...

I'm still feeling rather ill, but on the plus side, I'm hyped up on cold medicines, so now I'm a little loopy (go read my comment on Edwards LJ... you'll see what I mean). Cold medicines and lots of Strawberry Banana and Strawberry Kiwi juice makes me one very happy little QueenRiley... even though I can't breathe through my nose and I cough too much. :)

I love you guys. I'll get better soon, no worries. Alex isn't much of a tv watcher, but if I give her one of her board books, she's more than happy to sit down and "read" her book for about half an hour before moving on to other things. She read to me the other day, it was cute. Baby babble is just adorable. I wish I had a video recorder.

And yes, kind sir that is pyrrhonist, I am getting lots of fluids and rest (well, as much rest as is possible for a Mummy).

Circe, you are not a twat, you are just busy. :) I love you anyway.

I refuse to believe that you're drinking Strawberry-Banana juice...Banana juice? There's no such thing!

There is so such a thing as strawberry-banana juice! I've been drinking it since I was a little kid. I love the stuff. It's my favourite juice in the whole world (though orange juice is a close second, I can't drink it when sick as the acidity of it hurts). Go to the grocery store. Go to the juice aisle. They may only have the V8 Splash! stuff, but there is such a thing as strawberry-banana juice. I know cause I'm drinking it. :P So there.

Alright, toots...I've had this discussion before...yes, Dole even makes a lovely Pine-Orange-Banana juice...

But there's no such thing as banana juice!

What do you get if you juice a banana? Pureed banana. No liquid. No juice.

I rest my case.
