queenrileyWondering why lj took down the holidays banner... Chanukah still has one more night, thanks very much. Oh well, shouldn't be surprised.
Finally, FINALLY, saw Goblet for the first time today. Wow. OMG wow. I was very impressed. I cried as soon as they hit the graveyard, really sobbed at "Kill the spare" and was bawling so bad I couldn't really see the screen when Harry took the portkey back to the field. Yeah. Wow. Acting has improved greatly on all parts. Still irritated to no end with Movie!Hermione. SQUEEED at the Yule Brawl. Yay for having Malfoy the Bouncing Ferrett! I really really didn't like that Ron knew about the dragons and didn't tell Harry... that made it seem so much worse to me. No matter how mad he was, Book!Ron would have ended the fight there. Otherwise I thought it was a great movie. Now we just need to see how I fare for Order...
Happy New Year, it's almost 2006. Hope those of you who celebrated it had a Happy Christmas. I don't think there are any other Chanukah celebrators on my flist, so Happy Chanukah to me and my kids. Sam is (if I don't screw it up again) getting his first ever officially-his baby kippah tomorrow... assuming I can sew it properly this time. If I screw it up, a very nice friend of mine has offered her husband's mad sewing skillz to make Sam a baby kippah. Yay!
