It was meant to be...
Stole this from ciircee (I'll figure out how to link that later... if you are reading this, you already know who she is and where her LJ is anyway)

Take the Which Breakfast Food Are You? Quiz.
How neat is that? I'm waffles... I love waffles.
Okay, that was a high point for this weekend. Yesterday was awful. I was supposed to meet some Quillers for the Houston summit. Well, a "reliable source" told me to suggest meeting at the WB store in the Galleria, as that's where some of us were going to be. She told me there was still a WB store, it was no problem... ha. Some reliable source she was. There is no WB store in the Galleria. Maybe there used to be, but not anymore. So, after sitting in traffic on the freeway (because part of it was closed for construction they fit normally 4 lanes of steady flow into the two lane and traffic light ridden access road) for 45 minutes, we find that not only are we late, but the designated place to meet doesn't exist. So I go to wait by the hotel, knowing the one person who has the best description of me and will likely be able to find me, will be there meeting somebody coming out of the conference. We watched as people filed out of the conference hall. We waited for over an hour there, but still nobody. So we wandered until time to meet at the Cheesecake Factory. The only one we could find remotely close to the Galleria was in the mall itself, with street access below. We checked twice, half an hour apart, after the designated meeting time. No large parties, no reservations, no tables holding for any of the possible names I had. So I hope everybody had fun. I wish I could have been there for it. Things like this never work out for me, so I guess I'm just not supposed to meet any Quillers. On top of that, my computer decided to die on me yesterday morning. I now have to use my dad's slower than a slug dinosaur of a computer until my husband can figure out why Windows hates me. Life sucks sometimes. On the plus side, to cheer me up, my husband took me out to eat at a nice Italian restaurant in our area instead of just taking me home after the 3 hour attempt to find Quillers. That was good. And we rented a movie... a movie I wanted to rent, not one for him and one for me, just the one I wanted. Course, he enjoyed it too. We both love Martial Arts Action Flicks. For anybody that likes said movies or Jet Li, go rent The One. Good movie. That's it for now, I guess.

I'm sorry that you had such a bad time in trying to meet Quillers. You and I will not happen like that....you offered to take my bratling children and I will hunt you down all the way to your house if I have to. Besides, you ROX. ^.^ {hugs}
