SHE DID IT!

For the very very first time ever, Alex walked all on her very own. She took her first steps at 2:45 this afternoon. She let go of her playpen, stood there for a minute, and then just started walking. She's been walking ever since. I'm so proud! My little girl, only one week past her 1st birthday, and she's walking all on her own. I just had to get on and share with everybody. :) If there is a bright light coming from the direction of Houston, it's me beaming.

I'm also sort of dreading her getting the hang of this as I know I'll now have a merry chase on my hands every day... but it's still so exciting. My baby is growing up. She's learning everything so fast, I'm just bowled over by it.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised that you can see it over there. I'm still beaming about it. She gets better at it every single time she gets up and takes off. :D
