Well. I haven't really much to say, but felt I ought to update anyway. I had the time and the urge to write... something... anything, just to write. I hate writer's block. If I can hammer out a short story, or a chapter or so of a long story, ought I post it here? Would anybody read it and review it, or would the few that read my journal not be able to trudge through one of my stories? I don't know. None of you probably know either. Unless you've read a Buffy story put on a website about 5 years ago under the name QueenRiley (can't remember what it's called... I'd have to go look) you haven't read any of my writing. If you haven't read any Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog fanfic posted on just one site under the name Morrigan than you haven't read my writing. Wow... it's been ages since I've thought of those stories. Now I'm nostalgic and wanting to go back to read them. Hrm... okay, anyway, moving on. I ramble. Did you notice that? Is that a bad thing? I also ask too many questions. I suppose I ought to stop that.
Y'know, I have writer's block. I know why, too. I get very little time to write, and I cannot schedule myself to write at a certain specified time. I have to write when the idea comes to me, otherwise I can't get anything to sound right because I've pondered over it for much too long in my head. It just won't go from my head to paper or the computer... grr. My brain works funny. Unfortunately for me, the only time inspiration strikes is when I'm trying to take care of Alex or Jeff refuses to put her to bed. If I argue with him about it, I usually get so angry that I can't write anything usefull anyway, so it's rather pointless. (On a side note, he offered to put Alex to bed tonight... I had to turn him down on it because I was taking her up right then and he was in the middle of making dinner, but it was still nice of him to offer) One of these days I'll get to write when I feel like it... it just may be awhile. Either that or I'll train myself to write when the time is avaliable rather than only when inspiration strikes.
Good thing: taking my dear friends B and G (see below post for info on who they are) to the airport so they can fly to Dallas (short trip, silly to fly, but it was their only option) for A-kon. Lucky guys. :) They'll have lots of fun, and next year, I'll be there having lots of fun with them. :)
Good thing: I Want You To Want Me by Cheap Trick playing over and over on my playlist. I love that song. It's the greatest. :) Also, good Rat Pack songs, plus the theme to Ah! My Goddess, the end theme to El Hazard (my fav. anime btw), and Dance Magic Dance from the Labyrinth. :) I have such wierd taste in music... I think I'm about the only person in the world who likes this playlist. :) I made it myself... without any help from Jeff. I also learned a little html all on my very own. I'm proud of me. Yay me!
Great thing: Circe had a blast in Toronto and got to meet really cool Quillers. Yay for Circe! She really deserved that break, and I'm glad she had lots of fun.
Great thing: IDEA! I've just had a flash of a story idea. It's all R/H fluff (gee... imagine that). I'm going to go hammer out a bit of it and maybe, if I get enough pleas and words of encouragement, I'll post it here. I swear, I'm such a baby. I need prodding and kind words to be eased into posting a piece of a story on my own LJ... I'm such a wuss. I can talk about marriage problems in detail, but I can't post something fictional. Bah.
Real quick before I go though: Quizzes!

Oooo... a french horn. I don't play any musical instruments. I have no musical talent. But hey, I'm a french horn. Neato.
Chibi-Neko is off to write now.
