Oct. 14th, 2003 09:52 amRight. So. It's been awhile. Sorry 'bout that.
I haven't really felt much was interesting enough to post about lately and I don't want to bore you lot with my daily ramblings on cleaning the toilet, mopping the floor, or my many failed attempts at cooking beef stew.
But something exciting did happen, or sort of happened. We're moving. To a two bedroom. In a nice complex. In a nice neighborhood. No more living right by the freeway. No more living in a roach infested apartment. No more sharing a room with Alex (aside from when we have visitors). We'll have a big kitchen, with new appliances. We'll have double sinks for washing dishes. We'll have counter space! Alex will have a place for all her toys, and a room all her own to play in and decorate for herself. We're waiting on application final approval and we'll move November 1st. I'm excited.
Speaking of Alex, she got a haircut yesterday. My mother cut it first and did a pretty good job except Alex wouldn't hold still long enough, so it was a little uneven in the back. I trimmed it up when we got home. It's now very very short and Jeff thinks it looks like a little boys haircut. I think it looks like an in-style trim from the 1920's. She looks cute with it.
Sadly, I have nothing else exciting to say... pretty pathetic, innit?

Date: 2003-10-15 09:31 am (UTC)But thanks for the tip for the beef stew powder. I'll have to try it next time. Jeff says I'm just adding too many onions, so I'll have to work on that too. :D
