I would firstly like to thank ALL of you for the massive support you have given me. You rallied around me like I never expected anybody to do and I don't have words to express my gratitude and utter shock that you did all that for me. I don't know what I did to deserve friends as wonderful as all of you, but I'm glad I have you. :D So lots of hugs and kisses to ALL of you.

And now, some

Frodo's gonna have a hangover tomorrow
easy there, Frodo! you're scaring Bilbo's guests!!
as much as Hobbits can drink without effect,
they DO eventually get drunk. poor Sam can
only wonder how long Mr. Frodo's been at the

Which funny paused moment in the FotR or TTT are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Hehe... I wouldn't say poor Sam, but this is rather amusing.

best mate
Aww! You're Best Mate Ron!
Lucky for you, you are actually found in the books
themselves! You're funny, passionate,
protective, love chess and are fiercely loyal
to Harry. Sure, you've got your jealousies,
hurts and issues, but who doesn't? You're a
teen after all. Just try and stop being so
reckless, okay?? Harry will be devastated if
you die because you keep on throwing yourself
in front of him like that! And watch out for
someone trying to tempt you! *wibbles*

what number are you?

Thanks for reinforcing that belief there guys. :P Stupid quiz. I wanted to get the imaginary number, as QueenRiley is ruler of the Figment World, meaning she's imaginary. ;)

Had you been a 2003 Best Picture nominee, you would have been “The Pianist.” Appearances would have you pegged as the soft, artistic type, but your spirit is hard and tough to break. In spite of your capability to survive the odds, you remain a humble and caring person.

What 2003 Best Picture Nominee Are You?

By Madeline Elster

mmm... depressing holocaust movie. But I like the description. It seems to fit somewhat.

SEX APPEAL

(results contain pictures) What kind of ANIME BOOBS do you have?
brought to you by Quizilla

I DO NOT HAVE SEX APPEAL! But it's nice to know that, were I an anime character, I would have perky sex appeal boobs. Mind, my boobs haven't looked that nice since... well... if they ever looked that nice it was long before Alex ever came around... probably long before I was even out of middle school (I went through puberty EARLY). But I repeat, I do NOT have sex appeal... none, no sex appeal on me.

And also the lj

Person that introduced you to LJ? [livejournal.com profile] thathpguy

Still friends with this person? Sadly, he left the fandom.

List everyone on your friends list that you've met in person: [livejournal.com profile] angua9, [livejournal.com profile] atm_greggo, [livejournal.com profile] bevo, [livejournal.com profile] dexterslabs, [livejournal.com profile] notreallyfunny

List everyone on your friends list you plan to meet this year: this year? Erm... I don't plan on meeting anybody this year, much as I would like to, for I am poor and cannot afford to travel. Oh wait! If I can make it to Akon this year (which is currently up in the air, what with Jeff being out of work) I'm going to meet [livejournal.com profile] awelkin and [livejournal.com profile] bucketgirl if she's in town. :)

List everyone on your friends list you've not met BUT with whom you've spoken on the phone: [livejournal.com profile] misspince

Anyone on LJ you can't stand? not on my friend's list... if I couldn't stand them, why would I have friended them? Silly question...

Name one person on your friends list you would most like to meet: [livejournal.com profile] misspince (and subsequently, [livejournal.com profile] project626, [livejournal.com profile] hildigunnur, and [livejournal.com profile] jazzqueen, for whom I will reinforce this because I'm betting she still doesn't believe me, she happens to be HOT)

Last person you added? erm... [livejournal.com profile] notreallyfunny

Ever banned someone from commenting in your journal? no... I don't know how...

Biggest pet peeve about LJ? I can only have three icons at once, but I have ever so many I'd like to put up. And I have no money and cannot afford a paid account right now.

Watched the 1949 version of Little Women last night. It was incorrect in so many ways, yet stuck closer to the book in so many others. It's very odd, especially when comparing it to the 1990something movie with Winnona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes, and such. I like the later version better, as it at least gets the ages correct, but the 1949 movie still holds a special place in my heart. They just don't make movies like that anymore. While I adore the movies of today, it seems something has been sacrificed. The emotion is there, but it's different. I don't know how to explain it. But older movies hold more power over me than more recent movies do. Perhaps is the shock value... things just aren't as shocking now as they used to be, and it comes across. When people die in older movies they either don't show it, or make it very tasteful with minimal blood, gore, and dismemberment. Even if a bomb exploded on top of somebody, you don't see the blood and guts and various body parts. You see a man fall down with a grunt and moan and he lies still. And that's it. And for me, that's so much more moving and powerful than the blood, guts, and gore. I love the romance scenes in older movies. You just know the man is doing it for love and not for the sex that comes two minutes later in recent movies. It's the tasteful and beautiful dresses that actually cover the body and not just the naughty bits. I think women look ever so much more statuesque and beautiful in those flowing gowns than they do in the dresses of today. Maybe it's the innocence of older movies I love. I just can't put my finger on it, but if you handed me just about any movie made today and a similar movie made 60 years ago, I'll more than likely pick the movie made 60 years ago. *sigh* Give me romance over sex any day.

I suppose that's about all I have to say for right now. Just one last thank you for everybody who rallied behind me, even people I don't really know... I cannot expess how much I appreciate it. So big *hugs* and *mwwwuuahh!* kisses for you all... a thousand times over.

Well. I'm sort of hoping all this eating I've been doing/will be doing is gonna bring the old me back and not result in a strange new shape. Cos that'd be weird and disconcerting.
And my ass makes me hot cos it gives me confidence (the ultimate hotness-inducing thingie). Now all I feel I have going for me is, er, relatively nice hair. So I get shy and hide in baggy clothes. Feels like 8th grade all over again.
But cookies are definitely good. Yes.
And thank you for understanding. I feel less alone now.
(What am I saying? This is a country of assless anorexics. I just never thought I'd be one of em. Hoom.)
Okay, so you're a relatively normal person I can relate to. Yes. That's better.
I do go on, don't I?

Tis alright. I like it when people ramble. It's fun and amusing and a surprisingly good way to learn about them. Besides, I do it to. ;)

You have more than nice hair going for you. I shan't go into details unless you want me to, in which case email me as I think I might scare some people away if I go into your good qualities looks-wise on your lj.

That's the man with the lesbian porn. He is a convenient scapegoat. Besides, he's difficult to lynch cos of his tendency to be taller than everyone else. So, er. Everyone go look at him now. Yes?

::reads the above::
Less sugar. Definitely.

Yes, he and I have discussed lesbianism and bisexuality and threesomes... all kinds of things. He's actually fairly open, for being a mormon.

If you want to see true lesbophobia, well, come visit. I'll introduce you to just about everybody around here. :)

He's so open when it comes to certain things one worries things will fall out ::grins::
He does not really look or act anything like your stereotypical mormon. Well, except that he's a nice person. Nice people don't happen very often. Especially not ones who can stick pens through their ears.

Hmm. Darn. So picking up girls over there'd be a bad idea then?

Picking up girls would be bad if you don't know where to go to get them. I, however, know where to go to get them. So you're set.
