Am waiting somewhat impatiently to hear about a job for Jeff. If he gets said job, we can move into the house my sister-in-law and her husband are renting. It's a nice little house, bigger than the apartment we are in now, rent is LESS than what we are paying now. Plus it's a HOUSE. Alex can have her own room. And a yard... a back and a front yard to play in.
Am having no luck finding a job myself. Have discovered that sister-in-law has a friend with two children (one Alex's age, one infant). She pays almost $200 a week for daycare, which is actually pretty cheap, but is struggling to make ends meet because child care costs are too high. Am going to offer to sister-in-law that I take children during day. Cut child care cost in half as I will only charge $100 a week. That brings in more than enough extra income, should Jeff get this good job. If not, well, it brings in some income, which is better than none at all.
