So I've given myself another headache looking for Kevin Smith icons, anything of him or his movies, but to no avail. There apparently aren't any, and if there are, I couldn't find them. So I'll just have to make my own... eventually... because it will take forever as I'm no good at making icons, but I'm tenacious so it will get finished eventually.

In the meantime, here are some Kevin Smith quizzes )

Mmmm... Kevin Smith rocks my socks. He's beyond awesome. He's a god. He's transcended mere mortaldom and become a true god worthy of worship in all it's forms. And his daughter makes a really cute Baby!Silent Bob. :)

In other news:
Spent all day with a pounding headache. I have no more Imitrex but even if I had, I wouldn't have used it. It was bad, but it wasn't my really bad migraines. I saved the Imitrex for those. Unfortunately, when I have bad headaches, my vision becomes obscured. Wavy lines, sometimes just wavy and sometimes wavy with bright light, float across my vision so I cannot see much of anything. Nothing helps and nothing makes it go away, so I have to sit and hope it passes quickly. It's really unsettling, and unfortunately I was alone with Alex when it happened. I popped in a Wiggles video and she was happy for about an hour while I recovered enough to be able to see at least half of what was in front of me. Blah. But at least it wasn't a true migraine, just a baby one... which is still a really bad headache.

Does anybody else get migraines? What are yours like? Mine are crippling. First I get the vision obscurement. That's my warning, but it's not much of one because within minutes of the first onset of wavy vision comes the pain. It hits full force upfront. No lead up, no gradual build up. One minute I'm fine with no pain, and the next I'm doubled over and can't move. It's like a train that I didn't see coming hitting me dead center. Light feels as if dull knives are forcing their way into my brain through my eyes. Even the slightest whisper feels as if I'm standing right in front of a speaker at a hard rock concert. The pain is so bad I can't move at all. If I try to move my head, it feels as if someone has opened my head and is rearranging my brain. If I move anything else it feels like I'm being drawn and quartered. I spent four years with my migraines going undiagnosed, and therefore, going without any relief. I had MRI's, CT's, blood tests, biopsies, stress tests, allergy tests (which I needed anyway because we found out I'm allergic to grass... not just the pollen, but the grass itself... it's no wonder I was always sick as a child), everything test you could run I went through. Finally, a doctor figured it out. She looked at me, listened to my description of the pain, and said "Well you're getting migraines of course!" and promptly gave me a prescription for Imitrex when, if taken immediately when the wavy lines appeared, cut the migraine down to a throbbing headache in a matter of an hour. If I waited until full force pain it would take a little longer. I carried the inhaler with me everywhere for years, but I have no more now and no money to refill the prescription, so I spent all afternoon in pain, but thankful for not having a full force migraine. Mine, without medication, can last anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days. I'd like to hear about others experiances with migraines, so please, step forward and tell all. :)

Am going to bed now. Need sleeeepppppp.
