Why does Chuck deserve a third season? Well I could go into detail about how intelligent the show is, how witty and it's uncanny ability to span multiple genres and do it well. But that's not the point of this post today.

Today is me asking for your help, whether you watch the show or not. Today (Monday, at 8pm eastern) is the season two finale. If it's in your budget and power today, please go to Subway and purchase a $5 footlong sandwich of your choice. Leave a comment card (most locations have them) letting them know you're participating in the Finale and a Footlong Campaign to get Chuck a third season. Show Subway their sponsorship is worth it and show NBC that people love this show. You could also send a note via the Subway website letting them know you appreciate their sponsorship. Then go to NBC.com and let them know you participated (or wanted to even if you couldn't) in the Finale and a Footlong Campaign and you want a third season for Chuck. I know it's asking a lot, especially if you never watched the show, but seriously... this show is WORTH it. If you haven't watched it, and it is in a very competitive time slot (Mondays at 8pm eastern), take some time to watch the first few episodes.

What else can I say? Well how about this? The lead actor of the show, Zachary Levi, was at a convention in Birmingham (UK) yesterday. He took over 200 convention attendees down the street to a local Subway, got them sandwiches, and then went behind the counter to help the employees make ALL 200+ sandwiches. He was there from the first sandwich to the last. I mean, seriously, how AWESOME is that?

Nearly every actor in the show has taken time to post a thank you to their fans, a thanks in all our hard effort to get a third season. This is such a humble and gracious cast. They deserve another year of work.
