Two things:

Number 1- What is this Dreamwidth thing everybody keeps running over to join? Is there a particular reason for the mass exodus off livejournal? *is hopeless and confused*

Number 2- Does anybody else watch Chuck? Surely I'm not the only one that adores this show! If you watch it, let's talk about it. If you don't watch it, give it a try! Instead of downloading, watch a few episodes on nbc.com as they monitor the views (or borrow from Netflix or Blockbuster since season 1 is on DVD).

It's such an intelligent show. It has comedy, drama, romance, action and adventure. It has geek references and mainstream jokes. It's comedy is witty and it doesn't pull the preschool level humour just to get a laugh. Seriously, you guys should be watching this show. It's just a really good show.

Chuck is on the bubble. It deserves a third season, but NBC is still in debate on whether to give it that third season. It's in the coveted and highly competitive 8pm est Monday time slot. Please, give the show a chance and if you like what you see, write a letter or tell a friend. Every little bit helps. Save Chuck

Chuck is awesome. I hope they don't cancel it. They cancel everything even close to good. Pretty soon, it'll be all CSI-style cop shows and reality tv.

I know! Chuck and The Big Bang Theory are all I really watch anymore. I catch Castle when I remember, and I enjoy reruns of already gone shows (Star Trek and the like), but all I really look forward to is Chuck and The Big Bang Theory.

I do download Law & Order: UK, but my viewership doesn't count for that. ;)

Dreamwidth is a blogging service based on the LJ code. I think people are looking to it because it's run on a different basis as LJ. Less like a business, more like a community. I think after Strikethrough and all that, a lot of fannish people were simply tolerating LJ until they'd find something where they'd be happy and a lot of people seem to think that Dreamwidth is going to be such a place. You can read more here.

I've already got a DW journal of my own but I don't think I'm running away from LJ right away and probably never. I do have a permanent account here and I don't think everybody's going to leave LJ but I know that people I like, are going there.

Ah, thank you! I've been wondering but nobody has ever really answered me before. I might take a poke around and see if I like it.
