Interview questions from [livejournal.com profile] angua9

1. Do you have any good luck charms or good luck rituals?

Not really. I find charms and rituals really don't make a difference either way.

2. Advanced alien XPLFFT RGX offers to give you the ability to read minds. She is headed to Alpha Centauri, so if you take it, you won't be able to get rid of it for decades. Do you take it?

Much as I would like to say yes, I'm going to say no. Learning to control it to only read minds when I wanted to would be difficult. Reading minds in the first place is unethical. I don't want somebody poking around my brain and therefor will extend the same courtesy to others. While it would be a cool power to have and very handy for catching people in lies or wanting to know what Jeff really gets up to in the middle of the night... it's just not right nor fair. Very unethical. wouldn't do it.

3. What is your favorite card or board game?

I'm a fan of the themed Trivial Pursuit games... the old Disney one, the LotR one, etc. I tend to lose, but I have fun anyway.

4. Pick one question I asked somebody else, and answer it.
You. Animagus. What? Why?

I'd like to say I'd be a cat, as I enjoy comfort, sleep, food, getting my way, and being petted, however I'm fairly sure I'd end up as something boring and unuseful like a hermit crab.

5. At the end of the Harry Potter series, do you think house elves will be free or have more rights? Why or why not?

I think they'll have more rights, but they won't be free. As Hagrid and many others have pointed out to Hermione, it would be an injustice to set them free, it would do them a disservice. I do, however, agree that there needs to be laws as to treatment of house elves, so situations like the Malfoys with Dobby doesn't happen anymore. So rights, but not freedom. They don't want freedom, they are quite happy without it (and I don't think that is ignorance) but I do believe in the end JKR will do something to ensure all house elves are treated in a similar manner to the way Dumbledore treats the Hogwarts house elves; with kindness and respect.

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your LJ.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on.....

Can't promise good questions, but at least you'll get asked something. :P
