Feb. 3rd, 2004 06:00 pm1. If you could give someone else one superpower, who would it be and what power would you give them?
I guess... um... I really don't know. I've some friends who could really use the power to produce money out of thin air. And I've another friend who could really use the power to get pregnant at will. I've lots of friends who need random powers for various reasons. I guess I would give somebody the power to give everybody what they needed?
2. Which book would you most like to have written?
Hehe... my own! I certainly couldn't write anything out there better than the respective authors did (not on books I like anyway). So I'm going to say I would most like to write my own book. Kind of a cop out answer, I know, but that's the way it is.
3. What's your theme song?
Unfortunately you picked all the questions I don't have interesting answers to, if I have an answer at all. I don't have a theme song. I have certain songs that fit moods, events, time periouds, or people in my life, but no overall theme song. Not that I've found yet.
4. If you could go back in time (provided that this isn't a JKR-style 'closed circuit' scenario where things only happened the way they did because you went back in time in the first place... if that makes sense), would you? When would you go?
Yes I would. I'd go all sorts of places. I'd go to Mount Sinai waaayyyyy back when just to see God speak to all those people, to find out if and how it really happened. I'd go to the Italian Renassaince to see all that beauty when it was brand new. I'd visit Henry VIII and Elizabeth I just to meet them. I'd make a stop at the first US settlement in Jamestown, Virginia because my father's family came over on those first boats and I'd like to see it how it was, not how they recreated it. I'd visit everywhere during the US Civil War too. It would tear me apart, but I'd go see some of the Holocaust, and the aftermath. I'd go everywhen I could, honestly.
5. If you were going to get a tatoo, what would you get done, and where?
Either I'd get something written in Hebrew or possibly a celtic knot. Probably on my ankle.
On another note, I leave the day after tomorrow. The. Day. After. Tomorrow. I'm bouncy. Have been all day. Will have trouble sleeping, methinks. Am still very happy.
Am also considering taking the Greyhound from DC to New York on February 11th for Common Rotation, and then taking another Greyhound back at something like 2am. Would only cost me $40 plus the money for the subway, the show, and anything I get to drink there. Have talked the friend I'll be staying with into possibly going with me, though she's not keen on the bus. Still not sure I'll really go.
Must go pack now. SQUEE!
