gaidin_prime was my guest... or I was his... I'm not entirely sure. We went to see it together. :) He was a dear and let me cling during the Shelob parts because... well... large spiders with distinguishable parts (eyes, pincers, paralyzing poison stalks) that you can see, that could eat you whole, that's the stuff of my nightmares (some of them anyway).
There were problems with the sound and we got free passes. Susan, we are dragging you with us sometime next weekend to see RotK again. You, me, and Kirk. Just the three of us. Have we ever done movies or meals just the three of us? I don't think we have, and we really ought to, especially since he's leaving us soon. *sniffle*
On another note, I went to www.humanforsale.com and discovered that I am worth:
$1,546,370.00
I personally think that's a little high priced for me as I'm of no use for anything other than cleaning house and taking care of children (and a few things that I think I happen to do rather well, but cannot in good concience discuss them here where young impressionable eyes might stumble across them), but hey, whatever. Anyone want to buy me? That's my asking price, but I'll take the best offer. ;)
Have found a new band that I'm IN LOVE with. Completely, utterly, hopelessly devoted to them now. The band is called Common Rotation and you can learn about them at www.commonrotation.com where you can download some songs, see pictures, read reviews, and learn about the genius boys behind the band. Tisn't everyone's cup of tea, but I certainly enjoy them... doesn't hurt that the lead singers are hot, one in particular (see icon) gets my motor running just listening to him sing. *prrrrrrrrrrr*
Also having a slight problem with men and attraction to said men... wondering if I've just turned over completely to the "men bad, girls pretty" side or if I'm just in a rut. Will perhaps talk more about it later, or at least IM a few people whom I think I can talk about it with.
My most exciting bit of news:perceval comes back to town tonight! Yay! And she'll be here for 4 more days! I'm bouncy and happy and need to get picking up the kiddo toys and shopping for dinner. I'm cooking for angua9, perceval, gaidin_prime who finally gave in to my begging and will be joining us, and my family of course. We will be having fishes so tasty sweet! And a veggie side dish. And maybe a challah if I can find one (even though it's not friday)... gah! I'm making a kosher meal for these people. :D hehehehe
