Alphabet Meme
A - Act your age? No, most of the time I act older than most nearly 22 year olds.
B - Born on what day of the week? Monday. It was the 6th. And even though I was a planned c-section, I still managed to be an hour late. :P
C - Chore you hate? Dishes. So what do I end up doing most? Dishes.
D - Dad's name? Walt
E - Essential makeup item? I don't wear makeup. I think the only makeup I own is leftover from prom, senior year of high school, 1999... if I even still have that, and it hasn't been used since.
F - Favorite actor? Ewan McGregor, but it's hard to pick... there are so many.
G - Gold or silver? Silver.
H - Hometown? born in Washington, DC but I don't really have a hometown... not that I've found yet anyway. My guess is it's somewhere in either Canada (east coast of), England (west coast of), or Iceland. I'll find it eventually.
I - Instruments you play? Sadly, none, unless you count baby tummy.
J - Job title? Housewife, though I like to break down the tasks. Housekeeper, plumber, pest control technician, nurse, doctor, psychologist, private detective (knowing, uncanily, where everything happens to be at any given moment, when husband and daughter have misplaced it), wire technician, carpet cleaner, storyteller, singer (albeit a VERY bad one), chef, inventor, and the list goes on. In other words: I'm a mum.
K - Kids? yes, one daughter, nearly 22 months.
L - Living arrangements? one bedroom apartment with husband and daughter
M - Mum's name? Judy
N - Number of people you've slept with? Since mrs.ronweasley said nobody would answer honestly, I will. Dozens. I don't have an exact number as I lost track over the years. ;) Unless you meant sex... in which case it's 6.
O - Overnight hospital stays? Too many to list.
P - Phobia? Failure. Rejection. Roaches... big freakin flying tree roaches.
Q - Quote you like? "It is so much easier to learn to love what you have, instead of longing for what you don't have; or what you think you don't." It's horribly misquoted, but that's the general idea. I don't have the book right here with me, but it's from One True Thing by Anna Quindlan.
R - Religious affiliation? sort of self defined Jew.
S - Siblings? Older sister. She's a pain and somewhat mean, but I love her anyway.
T - Time you wake up? between 6:30 and 7 am, or whenever Princess Alex deems it necessary for "MUMUM! UP!"
U - Unique habit? erm... I babble, ramble, and go off on odd tangents when telling a story, like my dad... I don't know...
V - Vegetable you refuse to eat? carrots, but only when cooked. I like them raw.
W - Worst habit? Rambling.
X - X-rays you've had? Catscan, ultrasounds galore (both before and during pregnancy), lungs/chest, and had a few taken of my abdomen to make sure my bowls and such weren't damaged during my nasty infected c-section.
Y - Yummy food you make? lots of stuff! Fried chicken, meatloaf, burgers, steaks, spaghetti, lasagna, manicotti, parmisan chicken, baked chicken, chicken alfredo, macaroni and cheese, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, chicken soup with matzoh balls, chicken and dumplings, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and so many others... I love to cook.
