Not much to say other than things are going a little better. I still feel like crap, but that's going to take time to heal... I was dealt some pretty big emotional wounds. And after having been depressed and having troubles for awhile now, to have been handed this... well... it's very hard for me. And the person who dealt said blow is just now realizing how serious the little "trick" and "plan to catch me" doing something I wasn't... well, said person is now showing some real regret and remorse. And oddly enough, it helps to know that it really does bother said person that I'm pretty wounded. And that is all I'm going to say about that.

Jeff has, after ignoring livejournal and pretty much given it up, retrieved his codes and has given one to my best friend. She now has a livejournal which I would gladly link to for you, except for some reason the codes won't work on my livejournal at the moment. So here's an ordinary html link (which I learned... by myself...) Bevin's Livejournal so go check her out.

And now for some quizzes, for which I can do the cut tag, since it's the only one working. Stolen from the usual suspects.

You see the world in Gray
Gray:
You poor, depressed child. A rain cloud seems to
follow you everywhere. The worst has always got
to happen doesn't it? Life is miserable.

Well there's a big surprise.

Ellen
Ellen - You aren't that sure of yourself and your
empathic nature leaves you a bit open for hurt.
You remain hopeful however that things will
turn out for the best and through you, they
tend to.

Which Isfolket Female Character are you?

Not sure who or what this is, but Hildi asked for it. And what my favourite Icelanders ask for, I give. Is this result a good thing?

The final book of Narnia, you're a sometimes disturbing story about the end of the world and the beginning of a new one. Your characters include an evil monkey, a misguided donkey, stubborn dwarves and all the human characters from the previous books. You manage to be heartbreaking and beautiful at once.

This is what I got, but I don't like my answer. This is my least favourite of the books of Narnia, and in all actuality, I only ever read it the once. I've tried to read it again since, but I can't force myself through it is the book with the strongest Christian message, and I'm not a Christian. I really don't like reading literature that shoves religion down my throat, especially when I initially read it to read a good fantasy story. I do like some of the books and can still read a few of them over and over without feeling squicky. The two below are the answers I wanted to get, and they may have biblical undertones, but they are more subtle than the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and The Last Battle. If the biblical Jesus references are there, I don't see them because I don't know the New Testament that well... not being Christian, I never really bothered to learn it.

So here's what I wanted to get:

The only book which doesn't take place in Narnia at all, per se, you're the story of a voyage to find the end of the world and hopefully the Seven Lost Lords (remember Rhoop!). You contain some of the most unique people and places and beautiful descriptions of the whole series.

The fifth book written, you're the third book chronologically and take place during The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. You tell the story of the humans Shasta and Aravis and the talking horses Bree and Hwin, all trying to escape from unhappy lives in Calormen to go to Narnia.

And on that note I will leave you and apologize to any Christians for my opinion. I do not intend to offend, but am merely stating what I feel about those particular books. Living where I do, a good many of my friends are Christian, and I have nothing against the Christian religion. I just don't happen to believe in it myself, and there is nothing wrong with me stating that fact. :)

Oh, another note. Piglet's Big Movie opens this Friday. Jeff has volunteered to take Alex for a few hours so I may go and watch said movie. It's the first of my birthday presents, though I told him that I'd be happy if that was my only birthday present, since going to the movies is expensive these days and we need to save every penny. But he wouldn't hear of it and said I would still be getting a real present on my birthday. :) Which is fine by me, so long as he doesn't spend an exorbetant amount of money.
