1. Who did you last get angry with? Jeff
2. What is your weapon of choice? My words, until I fail miserably with those in causing any effect other than anger, and break down crying.
3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex? I don’t hit, I kick
4. How about of the same sex? I try not to get into cat fights… women are vicious.
5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you? Alex… I won’t let her climb on Jeff’s computer desk and she is now ignoring me and pretending I’m not here.

7. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily? I keep them. I can keep them for an eternity, but it takes A LOT of abuse for me to form that grudge.
SLOTH
1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you haven't done in a long time? Get some exercise? I dunno…
2. What is the latest you've ever woken up? When I’m healthy and didn’t have children, 10am. When I was pregnant, noon. Once, when I was sick, I didn’t wake up for over 24 hours and it scared my mother. Now that I have Alex, 8am is the absolute latest I’ve ever woken up (or been woken up, for that matter).

4. What is the last lame excuse you made? Hell if I can remember
5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through (one of the long ones...)? yes, yes I have.
6. When was the last time you got a good workout in? um… labor was a pretty intense workout… but I’ve gone running since then… but if you meant sex, well, that I will not tell.
7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today? First, there isn’t a snooze button on my alarm clock. Second, if I hit it, I’d get taken away for child abuse because my alarm clock is Alex.
GLUTTONY
1. What is your overpriced yuppie beverage of choice? Bottled/filtered water, but I have a good reason for that. The water here has too many chemicals in it and I just can’t drink it from the tap.
2. Meat eaters: white meat or dark meat? Mmm… both.
3. What is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had in one sitting/outing/event? Not a lot… I suppose my best friend’s 21st birthday party… I had two Mike’s Hard Lemonades, a Smirnoff Ice (both were not bad, but not very good either), some kind of premade, bottled cola and liquor beverage which was rather tasty. I also had half of two cans of Guinness. The Guinness was the best part. But I’m not a big drinker in the first place.
4. Have you ever used a professional diet company? no
5. Do you have an issue with your weight? Not really… I think I’m a little pudgy, but everyone else seems to think I look much healthier than I did in high school when I thought I looked fine and they thought I looked sickly.
6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods? Sweet and salty, and certain spicy
7. Have you ever looked at a small housepet or child and thought, "LUNCH"? goodness no!

1. How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies/family)? Um… at least 20, but I really don’t know for sure as I never kept track of naked records.
2. How many people have seen YOU naked (not counting physicians/family)? At least 20, but I’m really not sure as I never kept track of naked records… and I wasn’t what you would call modest in high school. ;)

7. Have you ever had to get tested for an STD or pregnancy? Yes on both and for very good reason. I got tested for STD’s on principal. I’d had sex with more than one person and, even though we used condoms, nothing is fail safe. So I got tested as it’s the smart thing to do. As for pregnancy, well I have a daughter. ;) Besides, the 4 over-the-counter tests I took all came up negative even though I was anywhere from 2 to 4 months pregnant when taking them.

1. How many credit cards do you own? none
2. What's your guilty pleasure store? Bookstores, I guess…
3. If you had $1 million, what would you do with it? Buy a small, modest house somewhere that is not here, buy Jeff a truck, pay back my parents for all the money we borrowed, set some aside for Alex’s education, give some to Karen and Kris for Xander’s education, give some to Circe and Edward, give some to misspince so she can travel the world without worry of cost, and I guess that’s really all.

5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks? That all depends on how badly I need the megabucks, but probably. I’ve lived the poor life. It’s not fun.

2. What one thing have you done that your parents are most proud of? I don’t know. My senior exhibition? Probably not that… hell if I know.
3. What thing would you like to accomplish in your life? There are lots of things, but the only accomplishable one (unattainable as it may seem now) is to meet misspince.
4. Do you get annoyed by coming in second place? Only when the winner makes fun of me for it

7. What did you do today that you're proud of? I made a cake, spent all morning on it, and decorated it with a spray white icing moon in the middle and stars all over it.

1. What item (or person) of your friends would you most want to have for your own? I don’t really… I have my own things and don’t begrudge my friends the wonderful things they have.
2. Who would you want to go on "Trading Spaces" with? Kristin, but she lives in DC and they won’t do a cross country TS, even though they did a cross globe CR.
3. If you could be anyone else in the world, who would you be? Nobody, everybody has problems and me being somebody else wouldn’t help a darn thing.

4. Do you believe in magic? Erm… sort of… it’s a long answer that I don’t want to get into right now.
5. What was the last promise you broke? I don’t remember, probably to call misspince before she left for Prague, but that was not entirely my fault and we got to talk in the end. I do my best to keep my promises to others.
6. Have you ever said the words to a prayer and not meant it? Yes, but against my will. A good friend of mine got married and I was a bridesmaid, as was my best friend. Neither of us are Southern Baptist or even Christian, but the maid of honour threatened to have us kicked out of the wedding if we didn’t say the prayers with everyone else (even though we respectfully bowed our heads during rehersal) since we were “upsetting the bride with our insolence”. We said them and later found out that the bride didn’t care if we said them or not, so long as we were respectful of others during that time.
7. Do you believe that anyone could be perfect? Of course not
HOPE
1. Did you get everything you wanted over the last holiday season? No, but I’m happy with everything I got.
2. Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for? Jeff to have a good, steady, permanent job that supports us… a job that he’s happy with. That’s all I want.
3. Do you let yourself get your hopes up for something even if you know that there is a large chance of failure? Not anymore. I don’t even get my hopes up for something if I know there is a large chance it WILL happen. I just don’t let myself get my hopes up for anything anymore, because I’ve been disapointed and heartbroken far too many times.

1. What causes do you support? Quite a few… though the support is mostly through word and deed, not money.
2. What causes have you given money or time to? Money, very very few as I’m broke already. I donate my time on occasion to Goodwill, HAAM, homeless shelters, nursing homes, abused women shelters, and animal shelters.
3. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? yes
4. Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? No

6. Have you ever helped out a friend with basic needs, like rent or food? Yes, for months we payed for her rent and food, and then she moved to Florida. And we gave the couch to a friend for a month when I was pregnant, provided for his food, laundry, and such. When it’s needed, I give what I can.

1. Have you ever been summoned for jury duty? Yes, but I was able to claim exemption because I have a child under the age of 10 who would not have sufficient supervision if I were to be on the jury.
2. If they reinstituted the draft (for both genders), would you go, or would find some way out of it? They wouldn’t take me if I was the last person in this country left to fight. I’m too short. I’m asthmatic. I have horrible vision. I have multiple health problems that they turn people away for and exempted people from the draft for.

4. Do you believe that Dubya is rightfully President of the USA? I am very very tired of this argument. It’s petty, it’s very childish, and it’s irritating. I just don’t care anymore if he is or not. They screwed up the ballots… a lot, and there is nothing any of us can do about it, so nobody will ever know for sure. But he’s the President now and lets all just accept that and move on.

1. Who is the wisest person you know? I can’t honestly answer this, as everybody is wiser than others in certain areas.

5. Do you drive defensively? Erm… I’m a safe driver, if that’s what you mean.

7. What did you learn today? I can make a pretty cake that also tastes good, Alex can use her pull-ups even if she doesn’t quite get to the bathroom before she needs to go potty, and putting laundry away is just going to take energy I don’t have at the moment.

Also, I'm a little disappointed today. I spent all morning making a cake for Jeff to take to work with him. It came out great. It's yellow cake with chocolate icing. I bought some spray icing and made myself some patterns to use. I made a moon and two different types of stars. I sprayed the crescant moon in the middle and put the stars all around and it looked great! I got Jeff up, even though he got up late, and was really excited about the cake. I figured he'd be really happy with it and really impressed at my artistic skills and the lovely result of all my hard work. Instead he just said "Yeah, it's a cake with stars on it and a moon in the middle. Thanks." He took it from my hands after I put the top on the cake carrier, and walked out the door. He wasn't even impressed a little! I worked hard on that cake. A little recognition would be nice, y'know?
