second_batgirl had this in her journal, I commented, she choose, so shall I respond.
Interests:
david hewlett's heart-shaped ass
This... well... I like David Hewlett. A lot. He's... strangely supremely attractive (I blame it entirely on the character of Rodney McKay as there is nothing hotter than a closeted gay astrophysicist). He also happens to have a rather nice heart-shaped ass. On one of the communities I'm a member of, a community devoted to the pairing of McKay/Sheppard on SGA, we decided to change our interest from just David Hewlett to david hewlett's heart-shaped ass. So we did. And now there's a bunch of us out there with it as an interest.
I like his heart-shaped ass.
jack the ripper
Gory tales of death by a killer who has yet to have his identity discovered, even after all this time? Who wouldn't be interested? Or maybe I'm just weird like that...
showjumping
I've always loved horses. At 12 years old, with prodding from my psychiatrist, my parents decided to bite the bullet and find a way financially to pay for riding lessons. I progressed from simple riding lessons to actual showjumping, loved every minute of it, and paid my own way through lessons in high school by working for the stable. I won a few ribbons in local tournaments, never went further than that, and haven't ridden in 8 years. I miss it terribly, but still watch it on tv all the time.
Icons:

That's my Sammie (I do call him Samwise sometimes, but mostly Sammie). He's 19 months old. He's unbelievably adorable and he uses it to his fullest advantage. The cute face/act works with most people... he gets large amounts of cookies and sweets from not just people I work with, but his own Grandpa. Jeff made the icon.

That's Rodney McKay! The biggest geek in two galaxies! I love him. I must worhsip him. Geekiness rules.

I've had this icon forever. I can't remember who made it and I wish I could so I could credit them appropriately. I use it when I need to feel a little uplifted, when I'm feeling insufficient and need a reminder that I can do it, or just because I'm feeling the Sam love. After all, if Hobbits can do it, I can too.
