If anybody has time on their hands and is willing to read, reread, and correct my horrendous grammar and spelling, I could really use your help.
I've written a story, a Harry Potter fanfic, so if you aren't a fan of Harry Potter or don't know the books like the back of your hand, please do not reply as I would rule you out. I need somebody to beta it, because I might actually get the guts to post this one somewhere, and I'd like to a) fix my mistakes and b) find out if it's any good in the first place.
So if you have impecable grammar and could spell supercalafragalisticexpialadocious backwards without blinking an eye, please help! Well... maybe not that extreme, but if you know your grammar and are a good speller, I'd like your assistance. Please beta my fic!
Also, a special request to those from "across the pond". If you are from the United Kingdom, will you PLEASE read my fic and tell me what the blatant Americanisms are and what I ought to change them to? Please please please? I really hate having Americanisms in my writing, but, since I'm an American, they are unfortunatly abundant. And I won't be able to fix them without your assitance.
So, to anyone who so kindly betas for me, fixes my ingrained American slang, and honestly lets me know if my story is total crap, thank you! I'll give you a treat, bake cookies, whatever you want.
