Right, erm, Happy 4th to those who celebrate. To all others, Happy Friday! Friday's alone are enough to be celebrated, what with the weekend and (for most) no work to look forward to.

Have decided. With the help of my best friend, Sunday afternoon/evening my hair will be dyed red. She's been trying to get me to do it for years, and now I'm willing. So she went and bought the hair colour for me (go Bevo) and we're colouring it Sunday. Here's to hoping it comes out okay. I'm getting exceptionally nervous about it now. I mean, what if it doesn't take well? What if my face looks ten times redder than it does now?

Jeff finished OotP last night. I don't know what he thought about it as I was asleep. I'll find out later, if he manages to get up before I go to bed. I must go to my parents house today to pick up my british edition, which arrived a few days ago. It cost more than I expected, because apparently the value of a dollar against the british pound has gone down, so what was $12 or so a few months ago when I ordered is now $22. I even double checked and they charged the correct amount. I may send it back for a refund since I'm getting a lovely british edition signed by the GEEKmooters plus two. I should have that in about two weeks, maybe less if the US post system doesn't screw it up or actually manages to deliver something in a timely manner. I'll start my reread once I get it.

Have found a few of the most romantic songs ever written.
Crush by Dave Matthews Band )
Everything by Lifehouse )
Green Eyes by Coldplay )
Susanne by Weezer )
I found more, but those are the ones I really wanted to put up here.

Why is it that men wrote those romantic songs. They sing them. Women swoon over them. Yet men in our REAL lives don't have that kind of romance in them? Men in our real lives can't say those things, not even in a letter or a card, if we're even lucky enough to get a letter or a card once in awhile. Why is it that men in our real lives haven't an ounce of romance in them and can't see the romantic things we do for them? Either romance like that doesn't exist in real life, or I just know ALL the wrong men.

Edited to add: Once again, no romantic icon. I'm feeling all romantic and really wanted to use the romantic icon, but alas, none. So I'll just go with flirty, since I've been feeling flirty since last night. ;)
