Jan. 15th, 2003 07:15 pmSo what else is there to say other than Book 5, June 21st? Nothing. Everybody has already said it. :) I was quite happy to learn about it, and thanks to Circe, doubly happy to learn that I could order it and get the nice pretty much desired UK edition for quite a bit LESS than I'll be able to go to bookstores here and buy it. So I did just that and ordered. In 6 months you won't see me on much. I'll be busy coveting my beautiful british edition. Mmmm... Harry Potter as it was meant to be read. I almost never touch my American editions now... those get lent to others while I save my british editions for me, and Jeff if he washes his hands first and does not eat or drink while reading. ;)
Have been quite ill today, but the release news made it all tolerable. I won't whine to you about how icky I feel. I'll just let you know that I'm not top notch today and leave it at that.
Also rediscovered the most romantic song in history. Weezer's Susanne. If you haven't heard it, go rent Mallrats. It plays over the end credits. Or download it or something. Or you could just find the lyrics. But I still hold true to my belief that it's the best love song ever written in the entire world. Best that ever was, is, and will be. Ill or not, it makes me feel all warm and squishy just listening to it. God I love this song. If I had to pick any song to listen to for the rest of my life without hearing anything else... it'd probably be this one.
Mmmm... new Harry Potter canon visible on the horizon, strawberries and vanilla ice cream to soothe my very achy throat, and spiffy love songs. Doesn't get much better than this. No sirree Bob, it most certainly doesn't.
Hasty note before posting: there is no icon for fuzzy. There should be. I'm feeling particularly warm and fuzzy right now and would like to have a cute chibi-neko expressing said fuzzy emotion. I'll settle for romantic.
