I'm back, it's magic!

I've had a busy few days. I disapeared for two days, and it was a busy busy two days. The 7th was my husband's 25th birthday and my parent's 31st wedding anniversary. I was very busy buying and wrapping presents, making a nice dinner, baking a cake, and keeping my 11 month old daughter happy throughout. It was a nice day. Yesterday the present my parents got for each other was delivered. There is now a very very large telly sitting in our living room. It's 32 inches and a flat screen. This thing is half as tall as I am. It's scary almost. It doesn't fit in the existing entertainment center, however, so my dad had to go out and buy a new telly display stand. It's really long and very attractive, but the only place the telly can go (due to cable hookup) is where the existing entertainment center already was sitting. So my mother and I, two very small individuals, moved the very large and solid oak entertainment center across the room. It now holds the stereo, the tapes, the cd's, and will probably soon hold movies and such. My dad also bought a DVD player, so my husband, the technical whiz that he is, hooked everything up. It's really neat. So yesterday was spent rearranging the living room, hooking up electronical equipment, and keeping the baby out of harms way while making sure she still had fun. My goodness, it's been a busy two days. Nothing much going on for today though, luckily. I have to have the entire house clean before Saturday, as my cousin is coming in from out of town to stay for a week and a half. She's nice, though she's much older than I am. It's going to be tight living quarters, however, as my daughter has to be moved into our room so my cousin can have the guest room/nursery. I'll likely be tired in the coming week or two.
I haven't got any quizes today, as I decided to opt for a real update. :)
Circe, darling, there was no letter in with the package you mailed me. I went back and checked everywhere and everything. There wasn't a letter. I'm sure it was a very nice letter, though.
Good things about the past few days (to completely steal from Circe):
Great home made fried chicken dinner with my grandmother-in-law who is so nice and sweet that I usually just call her my grandmother (as I only have one biological and she's very ill; not likely to make it much longer)
Birthday cake- even if it's not mine it's still yummy
Wrapping presents- I love to wrap presents. Christmas is my favourite time of year.
Bubble baths- the stuff Circe sent is really truely wonderful
Good friends- online and off :) I love you guys!
And one of the best things:
Watching Trading Spaces on a really big telly. Vern is even cuter, Ty is even hotter, Doug is attractive on a big screen, and everything is just so wow.
